Order Processing & Delivery

Ready to Ship Wigs

Ready to Ship wigs are in stock and will be dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.

Each Ready to Ship wig is sold as pictured and described. Small adjustments may be possible before shipping, such as changing the parting, styling the hair straight or adding a fringe. Please leave your request in the order notes or contact us before placing your order.

Please note that alterations requested by the customer may make the wig non-returnable.

Pre-Order Wigs

Pre-Order wigs are created especially for you in the style, colour and specifications shown in the listing.

The usual processing time for Pre-Order wigs is 4–6 weeks. Once your wig is completed, we will contact you by email with photos of the finished unit before arranging shipment.

Custom Orders

Custom wigs are created through our Custom Order process and are made to your chosen specifications, including colour, cap size, density, length and styling.

Custom orders typically take 5–6 weeks to complete. Once your custom wig is finished, we will send photos by email so you can review the final result before delivery is arranged.

Shipping

All orders are shipped from the Netherlands. Shipping times depend on your location and the courier used. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided via email.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Netherlands & EU: approximately 1–7 business days
  • International orders outside the EU: approximately 5–14 business days, depending on destination and customs processing.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, holidays or customs inspections.

International Orders, Import Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, customs fees or local taxes once the parcel reaches your destination country.

These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and remain the responsibility of the buyer. Uncommon Wigs is not responsible for customs fees, import charges or delays caused by customs.

We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order.

Returns & Refunds

Ready to Ship Wigs – EU Orders Only

We accept returns on Ready to Ship wigs within the European Union, provided the item is returned in its original, unused condition. To request a return, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your wig.

The wig must be returned with:

  • Lace fully intact and uncut
  • No signs of wear, washing, styling or product use
  • Original packaging and included items
  • The wig in the same condition as received

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

Once the wig has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued minus a 10% restocking fee of the original item price. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you would prefer an exchange or wish to use the funds towards another order, please contact us and we will gladly discuss the options.

Orders Outside the EU

Please note that all orders shipped outside the European Union (EU) are final sale and are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Due to international customs procedures, import regulations, shipping costs and cross-border handling, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds on orders delivered outside the EU.

We kindly ask international customers to carefully review all product details, cap sizing information and photos before placing an order. If you have any questions before purchasing, please contact us — we are happy to assist you in making the right choice.

Pre-Order Wigs

Pre-Order wigs are made especially for you based on the selected listing and are therefore considered made-to-order items. For this reason, Pre-Order wigs are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Your satisfaction remains very important to us. If you experience any concerns after receiving your wig, please contact us and we will always do our best to find a suitable solution where possible.

Please ensure that the wig remains unused and the lace fully intact if we are to assess any possible options.

Custom Wigs

Custom wigs are made to your personal specifications and are therefore non-refundable and non-returnable. This includes custom colour work, cap sizing, density, length, styling and any personalised requests.

As every custom unit is individually created, please ensure all measurements, inspiration photos and preferences are confirmed before production begins.

If you are unhappy with your custom wig, please contact us. Although refunds are not available, we will always do our best to work towards a fair solution.

Important Information

For hygiene and product integrity reasons, we cannot accept returns on wigs that:

  • Have been worn
  • Have had the lace cut
  • Show signs of styling, washing or product use
  • Carry perfume, smoke or other scents
  • Have been altered after delivery

Returns sent without prior contact may not be accepted.

Uncommon Wigs reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions above.
